Replace allows a single portion of a song to be re-recorded in the same voice, while everything around it remains exactly as before. A mispronounced name can be performed again with the correct spelling. A mumbled line can be re-sung with clarity. A lyric that the AI strayed from can be restored to its original wording, or rewritten into something improved. The verse you loved and the chorus you’ve been humming stay untouched.
This feature works on songs created within Neume as well as on tracks that users upload themselves.
Reimagine addresses a different question: what if this song were turned into something else? It retains the melody and lyrics while rebuilding the instrumentation in the style the user describes. A pop tune becomes dubstep. A ballad becomes 80s synthpop. A song someone recorded at home returns as a full-fledged country track, letting them hear their own creation the way they always pictured it.
