DeliverFund Launches Long-Term Counter-Trafficking Support for Super Bowl LXI and 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

After a record-breaking World Cup mission, DeliverFund will offer intelligence, training, and analytical support for Super Bowl LXI and the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

Human trafficking investigations are built by investigators and prosecutors. Our job is to make sure they have the intelligence they need to land a prosecution.”— Shane Erickson, COO

DeliverFund, the nonprofit counter-human trafficking intelligence organization, announced today that it is gearing up to assist law enforcement agencies during the next two major U.S. events: Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium on February 14, 2027, and the Los Angeles Summer Olympics from July 14 to July 30, 2028.

This pledge follows the biggest counter-human trafficking effort in DeliverFund’s history. Between June 10 and July 19, 2026, DeliverFund analysts delivered 2,177 intelligence reports to law enforcement agencies throughout the FIFA World Cup, averaging roughly 56 reports per day over 39 consecutive days. That operation marked the highest report volume the organization has ever generated for a single event, as well as the longest counter-human trafficking mission DeliverFund has ever participated in.

"Human trafficking investigations are built by investigators and prosecutors. Our job is to make sure they have the intelligence they need to land a prosecution," said Shane Erickson, Chief of Operations at DeliverFund. "The Super Bowl is six months out, and the Olympics are two years out. Agencies that start preparing for the influx of human-trafficking now will be identifying victims when those events arrive. Agencies that wait for the crowds will be reacting to them."

Supporting Agencies Through 2027 and 2028

In the lead-up to Super Bowl LXI and the 2028 Games, DeliverFund will:

· Maintain steady analytic coverage rather than ramping up for each event. Analysts will keep monitoring illicit online commercial sex activity nationwide, so agencies in host jurisdictions are not starting from a cold baseline when an event approaches.

· Send intelligence reports directly to federal, state, and local investigators; each report is linked to a specific potential victim, trafficker, or trafficking venue.

· Offer real-time analytic support during operations, answering questions from officers in the field and delivering intelligence quickly enough to be useful during an operation or investigation rather than after it.

· Train law enforcement personnel on how to identify and investigate trafficking activity in illicit online markets, including agencies in and around host jurisdictions.

DeliverFund provides this support at the request of law enforcement. The organization does not conduct investigations or enforcement of its own.

The Constraint Is Capacity

Proactive operations rely on intelligence, and intelligence requires analytic hours. Most bureaus cannot find those hours within an existing schedule.

DeliverFund supplies data, analysis, and training delivered to the investigators doing the work. During the World Cup, the agencies that moved before the crowds arrived were the ones that brought children home.

Super Bowl LXI is six months away. The 2028 Olympics are two years away. Neither is a surprise, and no agency should be starting from zero when they arrive.
