One of the event’s most notable exhibits was PSYONIC’s Bionic Hand, a state-of-the-art prosthetic engineered to learn and adjust to its user’s motions. Dr Aadel Akhtar, CEO at PSYONIC, stated: “Our goal is for the prosthetic hand to feel less like a device and more like a natural part of the user’s body. By gathering movement and sensor data from human users, we can train robots to replicate those same actions.”
While displays like PSYONIC showcased the personal-level impact of cutting-edge technology, Saudi Arabia’s broader digital overhaul illustrated how such innovations are being rolled out on a nationwide scale. This was underscored by a significant achievement for Tawakkalna, the all-encompassing national app powered by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
At LEAP 2026, 62 government bodies were honored for finishing the incorporation of their offerings into the platform, fully meeting its 2026 integration objectives. This accomplishment broadens a platform that now supports over 36 million users, processes upwards of 85 million daily transactions, and offers entry to more than 1,700 government services. As part of this 2026 integration milestone, 926 services from those 62 entities have been consolidated into a single interface, reflecting the expanding scale and sophistication of Saudi Arabia’s digital government framework and making it easier for citizens, residents, and visitors to reach essential services.
