Months of cooperation between Caterpillar Inc.’s Health and Safety Coordinators and InspectNTrack’s team have culminated in the rollout of Smart Safety Pro by InspectNTrack at Caterpillar facilities throughout Illinois and Texas.
Given that more than 600 projects are currently in progress, Caterpillar required a system capable of confirming both task completion and safety awareness during execution. Initially, the company’s Health and Safety Coordinators attempted to use paper-based methods for these checks; however, those approaches turned out to be not only inefficient but also a direct obstacle to achieving the firm’s safety objectives.
Although Smart Safety Pro provides numerous advantages to its clients, the primary attraction for Caterpillar was its workflow enforcement capability. Due to the customization of Smart Safety Pro’s software to suit their requirements, employees at all levels of Caterpillar are now experiencing significant improvements. Managers have assurance that tasks are executed in the proper sequence and that safety compliance is monitored, because the software can automate specific task prerequisites for various user groups. Moreover, since Caterpillar mandates that certain user groups undergo safety training before finishing particular tasks, Smart Safety Pro delivers those trainings to end users at any time and from any location through its mobile application.
