Olmsted Medical Center (OMC) and Enara Health today unveiled a collaboration designed to increase availability of physician-directed obesity treatment for individuals in Rochester, Minnesota. Known as Enara at Olmsted Medical Center, this joint effort introduces an online, tailored care approach that works alongside OMC’s WHOLEyou initiative, broadening the scope of obesity services throughout southeastern Minnesota.
The WHOLEyou program employs a Shared Medical Appointment framework, which features organized group meetings that merge medical knowledge, dietary advice, and mutual encouragement. This approach underscores OMC’s enduring dedication to managing obesity as a long-term health condition. The new collaboration reinforces that dedication by offering a remote, personalized option for those who favor individual consultations or encounter obstacles to attending in person.
Enara Health has established among the most impressive results in outpatient obesity treatment throughout its nationwide network of partners, relying on a remote, individual clinical care approach. Combined, WHOLEyou and Enara at Olmsted Medical Center create a seamless spectrum: individuals can select between the two offerings according to their preferences and medical suitability, all under OMC’s supervision. Healthcare providers at all 25 OMC sites have the ability to directly refer patients to the Enara program.
