New feature delivers user-friendly reports based on the last 7 days of radon monitoring, personalized, EPA-aligned recommendations and state-level comparisons.
Radon exposure remains a silent threat in homes across Canada, and a new tool from Ecosense aims to make indoor air quality data far easier for homeowners to understand and act upon. The company’s latest app feature, announced November 4, 2026, from Vancouver, British Columbia, arrives just as Canadians observe Radon Action Month and the Knowvember awareness campaign.
Ecosense, a global leader in continuous radon monitoring, has officially launched its My Radon Analysis feature for both EcoQube® and EcoQube Flex® devices in Canada. The rollout is purposefully timed to coincide with November’s Radon Action Month and aligns with Canada’s Knowvember initiative, which encourages homeowners to test for radon and take steps toward healthier living spaces.
The core problem this feature addresses is interpretation. Many homeowners who test for radon receive raw numbers but lack the context to understand what those readings mean for their family’s health. My Radon Analysis changes that by generating reports based on readings collected over the past 72 hours for EcoQube users or seven days for EcoQube Flex users. These reports help identify radon fluctuations, assess average indoor concentrations, and offer personalized guidance rooted in Health Canada’s official radon guidelines.
Radon is a radioactive gas produced by the natural breakdown of uranium or thorium in soil, and it can seep into buildings through foundation cracks or other openings. Because it is invisible, tasteless, and odorless, testing is the only way to know if levels are dangerous. Health Canada advises that any home with an average annual radon concentration above 200 Bq/m³ in regularly occupied areas should undergo corrective mitigation.
The My Radon Analysis report can be generated on demand through the Ecosense app for EcoQube Flex® or the EcoQube app for EcoQube®. Once enough data has been collected, the report appears within seconds. It also allows users to benchmark their home’s radon levels against provincial annual averages, giving them a clearer sense of whether additional long-term testing or professional mitigation is necessary.
It’s important to note that My Radon Analysis is meant to complement, not replace, long-term testing. Health Canada still recommends a three-month testing period to establish an accurate annual radon level.
“Radon awareness is just the starting point. Homeowners also need information that helps them interpret and make use of their test results,” says Insoo Park, Founder and CEO of Ecosense. “By adding My Radon Analysis to EcoQube Flex™ and EcoQube™, we’re giving Canadians valuable insights from their radon monitor test results that reflect their indoor living environment.”
The feature simplifies raw monitoring data by placing readings in the context of seasonal shifts and environmental conditions. Rather than leaving users to decipher numbers alone, the system presents recent information in a clear, digestible format with tailored next steps, furthering Ecosense’s mission to make environmental monitoring straightforward and actionable.
My Radon Analysis is now available for EcoQube Flex® via the Ecosense app and for EcoQube® via the EcoQube app. Canadian users can generate a report once sufficient data has been collected — 72 hours for EcoQube and seven days for EcoQube Flex.

About Ecosense
Based in Silicon Valley, Ecosense® is a leader in smart radon detection technology, providing accurate, real-time monitoring solutions for professionals and consumers alike. Its patented ion chamber technology — validated by the University of Michigan and Kansas State University Radon Chamber — delivers research-grade accuracy in minutes, not days. Ecosense’s innovations, including the EcoQube® (TIME’s 100 Best Inventions of 2021), EcoBlu®, and EcoQube Flex®, continue to redefine standards for health-focused environmental sensing worldwide.
Why it matters: With radon responsible for thousands of lung cancer cases annually, tools that translate complex monitoring data into clear, actionable guidance could encourage more Canadians to test their homes and take mitigation steps. By making radon insights accessible through a mobile app, Ecosense is lowering the barrier to understanding an invisible health risk that affects millions of households.
