Most action cameras are built for daredevils, not for dads chasing toddlers across the lawn. AGM Mobile is flipping that script with the CAM 1, a 39-gram camera engineered to survive life’s unscripted chaos—no bulky case required.
Waterproof and Shockproof Out of the Box – No Case Required – Available October 25
AGM Mobile has officially introduced the AGM CAM 1, an affordable, ultra-compact action camera aimed at those who want to document real-life moments without wrestling with complicated gear. The device hits the market on October 25 through the official AGM Mobile website.

Where traditional action cameras demand bulky protective housings, the CAM 1 arrives ready for the elements straight out of the box. That design choice stems from extensive market research, during which customers repeatedly voiced frustration over needing a case to shield their devices. AGM Mobile responded by building the CAM 1 around those very complaints. With an IP68/IP69K rating and compliance with military-grade 810H standards, it can be submerged, dropped, or battered by the outdoors exactly as it is—no extra shell needed. And at just 39 grams, it’s light enough to wear all day and compact enough to vanish into any excursion.
The company’s target audience is families and everyday creators, not adrenaline junkies. AGM Mobile recognized that the footage that truly matters rarely comes from extreme sports—it’s the unremarkable days that become treasured later. First steps in the living room, backyard play sessions, birthday parties, leisurely strolls, and those tiny, fleeting moments that capture loved ones growing up. The CAM 1 simplifies recording those memories and revisiting them whenever nostalgia hits.
Its featherweight build even allows the smallest family member to wear it, producing a distinctive low-angle viewpoint that is often comedic, surprising, and bursting with character. Parents and relatives gain a literal new perspective on the world—through a child’s eyes.
Key features that distinguish the CAM 1 include:
– Fully waterproof and shockproof without any housing
– Ultra-light 39 g design for all-day comfort
– Strong magnetic mounting for creative placement on almost any surface
– Bright 1.45-inch 600-nit display for easy framing
– Powerful built-in light for dark or underwater conditions
– 2K video and 12 MP still photos
– Integrated microphone and simple physical buttons
– Expandable microSD storage up to 256 GB
– Included magnetic necklace mount for hands-free shooting and a sport mount
For those planning longer outings, a separate Deluxe Package adds a battery case delivering an extra 800 mAh of power, standard mounting points for poles and tripods, and the ability to record while charging. This bundle also includes a hat clip, a bike mount, and a 16GB Micro SD card.
“We wanted a camera that removes the barriers between people and their memories,” said Karel Schillebeeckx, AGM Sales Director. “Most action cameras are built for extreme sports. We built the CAM 1 for the moments that matter most – the ones that happen at home, in the backyard, and on ordinary days. It is tough enough for real life, light enough to wear without thinking, and simple enough that anyone can start recording immediately.”
The AGM CAM 1 goes on sale starting October 25, available exclusively via the AGM Mobile website. It also positions itself as a thoughtful present for anyone who cherishes capturing family life and day-to-day adventures.

Why it matters: The CAM 1 challenges the assumption that rugged cameras must be heavy, complicated, or reserved for extreme sports. By prioritizing ease of use and everyday durability, AGM Mobile is betting that the most valuable footage isn’t the most thrilling—it’s the most personal.
