TWOFORM Launches an AI Packaging Design Platform Built on Production Dielines

TWOFORM produces AI-generated packaging artwork on production dielines with dimensions specified by the user, offering editable text and print-ready export in SVG and PDF formats.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, UNITED STATES, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TWOFORM has introduced an online platform for packaging design that constructs every creation on a production dieline—the manufacturing file that determines where a package is cut and folded—rather than simply showing a rendering of the final package. The platform can be accessed at twoform.ai.

Artificial intelligence has made it easy to produce an image of a package, but an image does not constitute a manufacturing file. Printers require a dieline: a full-scale template marked with cut lines, fold lines, glue flaps, bleed areas, and safe zones, drawn precisely to the finished package’s dimensions. A flat image still must be manually converted into a production file or outsourced to a designer—a process that typically takes several weeks. TWOFORM generates the dieline first and then designs onto it, eliminating that step.

Within TWOFORM, a design does not start as artwork that later gets mapped onto a shape. Instead, it begins with a production dieline generated at the user’s exact measurements, with every structural line already in place. The design is built on that framework and displayed in a live 3D preview of the folded package alongside the editable file. The exported file is exactly what a printer uses for production.

The platform provides five AI design modes, allowing users with varying objectives and skill levels to work in their preferred manner. A user can:

1. Describe the packaging in everyday language and receive a stylish design from the AI within minutes.
2. Upload a package whose style they wish to emulate and obtain an original design inspired by that look.
3. Upload a package whose layout they want, having it reconstructed on their own dieline with the original branding removed so they can add their own.
4. Have the AI place their logo and insert their text directly into the design.
5. Upload an image of a finished package—either a photograph or an image created by another AI tool, such as ChatGPT—and have it mapped onto a print-ready dieline in minutes, matching exactly how it appears.

In each mode, the result remains editable. A design can be refined through conversation with the AI or adjusted directly on the canvas, so layout, colors, and text can be changed or added at any stage.

Text is handled as editable type at print resolution, ensuring product names, ingredient lists, warnings, and legal copy remain legible during production. Logos, scannable barcodes, QR codes, and legal panels are positioned by the user and stay as placed unless the user instructs the AI to modify them, so a barcode retains scannability and required text remains intact.

Since the dieline displayed on screen is the same file used to produce finished packaging through TWOFORM, a design moves into production without needing to be rebuilt. Design and 3D preview features are available at no cost. The platform supports over 500,000 buildable dielines for folding cartons, corrugated boxes and mailers, rigid boxes, stand-up pouches and mylar bags, poly and bubble mailers, die-cut labels, koozies, and coasters, with finishes including foil, spot UV, embossing, and Pantone matching. Files are exported as SVG and PDF with true cut, crease, and glue layers. Packaging can be ordered through the site with live pricing starting at a minimum of 100 units and worldwide shipping, and dielines can be downloaded for production with an outside printer.

“AI is usually sloppy with the parts that have to be exact. It misspells words, invents fake barcodes, makes up nutrition facts, and produces QR codes that scan to nothing,” said Nick Wahl, founder of TWOFORM. “Our system does not do that. You place your own barcode, QR code, and nutrition facts, and your text is set as real type, so it comes out exactly the way you want it.”

About TWOFORM

TWOFORM is an online packaging design platform based in the United States. It offers five AI design modes and manual tools for designing on production dielines at user-specified dimensions, with user-placed logos and barcodes preserved and a live 3D preview. Packaging can be ordered from a minimum of 100 units with worldwide shipping, or dielines downloaded for production elsewhere. More information is available at twoform.ai.
