Thailand Content Market 2026 Aims for Over THB 2 Billion in Trade Value as It Positions the Country as Asia’s Creative Hub

Thailand Content Market 2026 Propels the Nation’s Content Industry onto the World Stage, Targeting More Than THB 2 Billion in Trade Value

Marking Thailand’s first all-encompassing international trade platform for the content and creative industries, Thailand Content Market 2026 will assemble over 300 companies spanning content creators, IP owners, investors, buyers, distributors, and creative enterprises engaged in film, TV series, animation, games, character licensing, digital publishing, art toys, board games, and related creative fields. The event anticipates welcoming more than 300 buyers and investors from over 28 countries, generating substantial prospects for cross‑border trade, investment, and strategic partnerships.

A major highlight of the event is the unification of two of Thailand’s leading international business platforms under the Thailand Content Market umbrella. Bangkok International Digital Content Festival 2026 (BIDC 2026) returns as the country’s premier digital content business platform, organized jointly by DITP and five Thai digital content industry associations. This year’s edition features 89 Thai companies and 80 international buyers from around the globe, with a goal of arranging over 550 business‑matching sessions across the animation, gaming, character licensing, and digital content sectors.

Concurrently, the Creative Economy Agency (CEA) will stage Bangkok International Content Market 2026 (BICM 2026), Thailand’s first international marketplace devoted exclusively to the film and television industry. BICM will gather more than 400 Thai and international companies, along with the BICM Pitching & Awards, featuring over 55 film and series projects from Thailand, the Asia‑Pacific region, and international partner networks. The programme enables creators to pitch directly to investors, producers, broadcasters, streaming platforms, and distributors, opening doors for co‑production, financing, and worldwide distribution.

Over the three‑day event, Thailand Content Market 2026 is projected to host more than 1,000 business‑matching meetings, supported by the involvement of leading

enterprises from Thailand and abroad, such as Epic Games, Warner Bros. Discovery, Mono Streaming, Kantana Group, White Light Studio, Matching Maximize Solution, GMMTV, True CJ Creations, M Studio, Netflix, and iQIYI International (Thailand). Their presence underscores Thailand’s expanding role as a regional hub for content and creative industries and as a gateway to international business opportunities.

Apart from its business program, Thailand Content Market 2026 will present a variety of activities open to the general public, including seminars led by global industry experts, character fan meet‑up events, hands‑on workshops, and creative inspiration sessions. By combining business, creativity, and consumers on a single platform, the event strengthens Thailand’s ambition to become Asia’s Content Industry Hub while generating sustainable economic value through the growth of its content and creative industries.

Thailand Content Market 2026 will be held from 20–22 July 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. Admission is free. For additional information and registration, please visit thailandcontentmarket.com.
