Nominees are put forward by their peers, then submit an application highlighting their creativity and how they have handled challenges. An independent panel of outside judges reviews all entries. This selection process is what gives the award its weight for the family behind the business.

A Ceremony in September
A formal celebration will take place at the Tulsa Small Business Awards on Wednesday, September 3, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Legacy Hall inside the Arvest Convention Center, located at 100 Civic Center in downtown Tulsa. The event will feature networking, a cocktail hour, and dinner. Cocktail attire is suggested, and complimentary on-site parking will be available.
