RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, September 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Money20/20 Middle East is getting ready to assemble the global money ecosystem in Riyadh from 14–16 September 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham, uniting fintech leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators across three days of programming, networking, and dealmaking.
Organized under the patronage of the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP), Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Insurance Authority (IA), and co-organized by Fintech Saudi and Tahaluf, Money20/20 Middle East will link global financial leaders with the companies, institutions and policymakers defining the future of financial services in Saudi Arabia and across the wider region.
The 2026 gathering is projected to draw over 38,000 participants, plus 350 exhibiting brands, more than 350 speakers, over 600 investors and 150 startups, underscoring Riyadh’s increasing prominence as a hub for the international and regional financial community.
Steve Durning, Assistant Vice President at Tahaluf, commented: “The speed of change across financial services is remarkable, and Money20/20 Middle East offers a venue where the individuals driving that transformation can meet. Riyadh will unite global and regional leaders, moving past discussion to concentrate on forming partnerships and sparking investment that will define fintech’s next era. We are excited to host the global money ecosystem in the Kingdom for three days of impactful connections, discussions, and prospects.”
This year’s schedule will highlight several of the most impactful trends reshaping financial services, among them artificial intelligence, autonomous finance, open banking, embedded finance, payments, regulation, capital access, and cross-border financial infrastructure.
These dialogues will occur across the Executive Summit, NextGen Money, The Bridge, The Capital Stage, The Boardroom, Off The Record, providing industry leaders with opportunities to share ideas, forge connections, and investigate fresh avenues for collaboration.
The Next-Gen Money track will also include Godfrey Sullivan, Senior Vice President, Head of Products & Solutions, CEMEA at Visa, in a live demonstration called “Trust in the Age of Agentic Commerce.” This session will examine how AI agents can execute transactions on behalf of customers, covering merchant selection, payments and authorisation, along with issues related to refunds, disputes and liability.
Godfrey Sullivan stated: “Agentic commerce is unlocking a new era in how people find, choose, and pay. As AI becomes more woven into everyday shopping, the industry must play a key part in making these experiences secure, reliable, and smooth. Money20/20 Middle East provides an excellent venue to discuss with the payments community what is required to move agentic commerce from concept to widespread use.”
Joy Adams, Chief Operating Officer, Digital Assets Transformation, Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank, will join a conversation centered on creating intelligent financial institutions, while Tony Ashraf, Managing Director at BlackRock, will participate in a session exploring what lies beyond payments as instant payment networks and programmable financial infrastructure increasingly merge.
The schedule will also address the oversight of agentic AI, the evolution of cross-border payment routes, the function of regulation in fostering innovation, and the factors needed to draw sustained global investment.
Saudi Arabia’s fintech evolution will be a major theme throughout the program. Nora M. Albakr, Deputy Governor for Financial Innovation at the Saudi Central Bank, will present an opening keynote, along with sessions on how Kingdom-born companies can scale internationally, why global investors are increasingly targeting Saudi Arabia, and how regulation, capital and infrastructure can fuel the sector’s next development wave.
Other confirmed participants include Mostapha Tahiri, Chief Operating Officer at State Street; Hani Kablawi, Executive Vice Chair and Head of Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific at BNY; Ali Bailoun, Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman at Visa; and Hisham Al-Falih, Co-Founder and CEO of Lean Technologies.
By linking Saudi founders, financial bodies and regulators with international investors and tech leaders, Money20/20 Middle East will generate prospects for global cooperation, market entry, and enduring partnerships, advancing the Kingdom’s objectives under Saudi Vision 2030 and the Financial Sector Development Program.
