HALLE, SACHSEN-ANHALT, GERMANY, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Halle (Saale) – The commitment to developing young talent is yielding results: HERO CNC Präzisionszerspanung is pleased to welcome two new apprentices for the profession of cutting machine operator (m/f/d) to its team. The impetus for these successful hires came from the apprenticeship fair in Halle, where the company had its own exhibition booth.

At the fair, around 250 students took the opportunity to learn about secure career paths in the region. The HERO CNC Präzisionszerspanung team conducted 28 in-depth technical and orientation discussions with interested young people. From the eight applications that subsequently arrived, two committed new talents were convinced and secured for the start of their training.
High-tech and precision for the next generation
The future cutting machine operators can look forward to a state-of-the-art and diverse training program. HERO CNC Präzisionszerspanung has established itself as a specialist in machining difficult-to-cut materials—including Inconel, titanium, technical ceramics, and sapphire glass—and supplies high-tech sectors such as aerospace, medical technology, and motorsport.During their multi-year training, the new apprentices will learn the fundamentals of metalworking, the creation of CAD/CAM programs, as well as the setup and operation of highly complex 5-axis CNC milling and turning centers. Form and positional tolerances in the micrometer range (+/- 0.01 mm) are part of the daily craft.
Regional responsibility and securing skilled workers
