The latest funding round for Pharmuna signals growing investor confidence in AI-driven healthcare tools that complement — rather than replace — human medical expertise. The startup’s $5 million raise, anchored by a prominent venture builder’s CEO, underscores a broader push toward accessible, responsible medication guidance.
Pharmuna, an AI-powered pharmacy platform aimed at making medical and medication-related guidance more accessible, has secured $5 million through FasterCapital. This follows an earlier $200,000 investment that supported the company’s initial development and early growth phases.
Hesham Zreik, who serves as CEO of FasterCapital, has made a personal investment in Pharmuna and is acting as lead investor. Beyond the capital, FasterCapital is providing support through its fundraising and venture-building programs, helping the startup refine its technology, broaden its healthcare professional network, and prepare for international expansion. The round, led by FasterCapital, also saw participation from multiple venture capital firms.

With its new place in FasterCapital’s portfolio, Pharmuna is focusing on strengthening its AI capabilities, growing its network of healthcare professionals, improving pharmacy and medication guidance services, and reaching users in additional markets.
The company was founded to tackle a persistent healthcare issue: many people have pressing questions about medications, side effects, drug interactions, dosages, treatment options, and whether a symptom warrants professional care — but reliable, easy-to-understand answers are often not readily available.
Patients frequently leave clinics or pharmacies with unresolved questions, while others turn to online searches that yield fragmented, overly technical, or questionable information. Pharmuna is designed to offer a more reliable first point of access for healthcare and pharmacy-related inquiries.
Using artificial intelligence, the platform delivers immediate, straightforward preliminary guidance on medications and general health concerns. It helps users grasp medicine-related details, identify questions worth raising with a healthcare provider, and recognize when professional medical advice is necessary.
Importantly, Pharmuna is built to support — not substitute for — doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. When users need expert input, the platform aims to connect them with qualified pharmacists, physicians, and specialized providers.
Clara Nyto, Founder and CEO of Pharmuna, commented:
“People often have important questions about their medicines and health but do not always have quick access to clear and reliable guidance. Pharmuna was created to bridge that gap. Our goal is to use AI responsibly to help people become better informed while ensuring that qualified healthcare professionals remain central to important medical decisions. The $5 million fundraising round, together with the investment and support of Hesham Zreik and FasterCapital, will help us improve our technology, expand our professional network, and make Pharmuna accessible to more users.”
By pairing AI-driven assistance with access to human medical expertise, Pharmuna seeks to make healthcare support faster, clearer, and more accessible — while also preparing users for more productive conversations with doctors and pharmacists.
The platform also aims to forge stronger ties among patients, pharmacies, healthcare professionals, and specialized providers, addressing the fragmentation that often complicates the search for medical information and support.
Hesham Zreik, CEO of FasterCapital and lead investor in Pharmuna, said:
“I decided to invest in Pharmuna because the startup is addressing an important and widespread healthcare problem. People increasingly expect immediate access to information, but healthcare requires a much more responsible approach than most other industries. Pharmuna combines the speed and accessibility of AI with the essential judgment and expertise of qualified healthcare professionals.”
Zreik added:
“We are pleased to support Pharmuna in its $5 million fundraising round. The opportunity goes beyond providing answers to healthcare questions. Pharmuna can create a bridge between patients, pharmacists, doctors, and other healthcare providers while helping users become better informed before they make healthcare decisions. FasterCapital will support the team across fundraising, product development, market expansion, investor readiness, and strategic growth.”
As lead investor, Zreik will also collaborate with the Pharmuna team on strategic direction and future fundraising. FasterCapital is leveraging its investor network and venture-building resources to help the startup connect with additional investors and strategic partners as it moves toward finalizing the $5 million round.
FasterCapital is backing Pharmuna through its Raise Capital program and broader venture-building services, which include fundraising preparation, investor outreach, business development, product strategy, international expansion, and strategic advisory.
With the new funding, Pharmuna intends to advance its AI-powered guidance technology, expand its healthcare professional and pharmacy network, enhance medication and drug-interaction information, improve user experience, and enter additional international markets.
The company also plans to strengthen safeguards and escalation mechanisms that encourage users to seek professional medical care whenever individualized diagnosis, treatment, or medical judgment is needed.
