RFT is thrilled to have our Help Alert® Staff Protection Pendant competing in the next round of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin with so many other great Wisconsin companies!”— Ernie Chan, CEO of RFTBROOKFIELD, WI, UNITED STATES, October 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — RF Technologies (RFT®) has been making the world a safer place since 1987 through its leading life‑safety and security solutions. The company is proud to share that its Help Alert® Staff Protection Pendant has progressed to the final 16 in the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest, which began on October 1, 2026.
During the nomination phase, thousands of votes were cast. The RFT Help Alert Pendant is now one of 16 contenders from across Wisconsin. Of those finalists, only six represent the Milwaukee area. The bracket‑style voting will continue throughout October, and the winner will be announced at WMC’s Business Day on October 27.
Users of Help Alert are worried about the rising violence in U.S. workplaces, hospitals, and schools, which affects employees, students, and families. To date, the Help Alert Pendant has protected 100,000 healthcare workers and is deployed nationwide to safeguard staff in many different industries.
This pendant is the smallest long‑range wearable panic button available. It operates without Wi‑Fi, providing seamless coverage indoors and outdoors. With a single button press, employees can discreetly call for help during potentially dangerous situations.
Nurses, teachers, and other users report that they appreciate the pendant’s clear visual and tactile two‑way feedback, continuous tracking after activation, lightweight and comfortable design, and dependable coverage even in parking lots.
