In March, Thiel explored technology, the future, and the Antichrist in Rome, delivering a private lecture series only blocks away from the Vatican. Those discussions connected his study of Christian eschatology with issues of science, technology, and political authority. Each session will include a one-hour lecture followed by a one-hour discussion and audience Q&A led by Peter Robinson, a Hoover Institution fellow and former speechwriter for President Ronald Reagan, allowing attendees to interact directly with Thiel.
The four lectures are scheduled for consecutive Mondays—September 28, October 5, October 12, and October 19—in downtown Nashville. The specific venue will be shared with ticket holders shortly before each event.
The series is designed to be sequential and cumulative, best experienced as a whole. All events will be closed-door, off the record, and subject to a no-device policy.
