Elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the district now have the opportunity to collaborate with Brainfuse for virtual high-dosage small-group tutoring in English language arts and mathematics.
Covering more than 70 miles from Chattahoochee Hills to Johns Creek, Fulton County Schools operates across campuses with varying schedules, staffing levels, and student needs. Virtual tutoring offers schools the ability to arrange recurring sessions without relying solely on tutors who can physically come to campus. Students can take part from school while engaging in real-time with a seasoned subject-area tutor.

Under the Fulton County Schools framework, tutoring groups are capped at four students, and each learner receives a minimum of 90 minutes of support weekly. Brainfuse programs can typically be arranged across three or more sessions each week over an extended tutoring period. Students are grouped by skill level and instructional requirements and work with a consistent tutor or tutoring team.
Instruction follows the Georgia Standards of Excellence, reinforcing Tier 1 classroom learning while offering targeted Tier 2 support for students who require extra intervention. Tutors can incorporate assessment data, student work, teacher feedback, and district priorities to pinpoint areas needing reinforcement. ELA instruction may include evidence-based reading and writing strategies, while mathematics lessons prioritize conceptual understanding, fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving.
Inside the Brainfuse online classroom, students can upload assignments, write or draw on an interactive whiteboard, and communicate via chat, audio, or video. These features allow learners to participate in whichever format suits them best. Session recordings also enable students to revisit past explanations and review completed work.
