Istanbul Hotels API

In 2025, Safaryar Holidays handled 65,280 passengers from the MENA region — a jump of 52% — while the typical stay contracted from 4.3 to 3.8 nights across 257 hotels under contract.

Safaryar Holidays, an Istanbul-headquartered destination management company and wholesale hotel supplier, has published its 2025 operational figures. The firm reports that it served 65,280 guests from the Middle East and North Africa — 52 percent more than in 2024 — while the average length of stay dropped from 4.3 to 3.8 nights.
Together, these two metrics indicate a fundamental change in how MENA travellers use Istanbul: they are taking more frequent, shorter journeys. Although the average stay shortened by roughly 12 percent, the total number of passenger nights the company managed still climbed by around 34 percent year-over-year, moving from about 184,900 to 248,000.
Safaryar Holidays operates as a business-to-business DMC, providing contracted hotel inventory, airport transfers, MICE services, and inbound tour packages across Türkiye to travel agencies worldwide. Established in Istanbul in 2018 and registered under Sindibad Turizm Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, the firm works with 370 partner agencies and maintains direct agreements with 257 hotels in Istanbul, Ankara, and Van.
Accommodation preferences were concentrated in the upper-midscale bracket. Of the 2025 passengers, 62 percent selected four-star hotels, 22 percent chose five-star properties, and 16 percent opted for three-star lodgings — equivalent to roughly 40,500, 14,400, and 10,400 travellers respectively.
Ground transportation statistics indicate that travellers are upgrading their experiences rather than their room categories. Among guests in five‑star hotels, 28 percent added a VIP transfer; meanwhile, 48 percent of four‑star guests used the company’s shared shuttle service — translating to around 4,000 and 19,400 passengers respectively.
"A shorter trip does not signal weaker demand; it reflects a different travel pattern," said Alper Tekin of Safaryar Holidays. "MENA visitors now view Istanbul as a repeatable short getaway instead of a once-in-a-lifetime vacation, and that shifts how agencies need to package the destination."
Shorter stays compress operational windows. Confirmations, transfers, and tour scheduling all move closer to the arrival date, increasing the value of instant confirmation compared to manual rate requests. Safaryar offers agencies three integration channels — a B2B portal, an OTA‑compatible XML and RESTful API, and an embeddable white‑label booking engine — each featuring real‑time availability and instant confirmation across its contracted inventory.
The firm provides support in five languages, including Arabic, Turkish, English, and Russian, and supplements its own directly contracted rates with inventory sourced from tier‑1 global wholesalers. Partnership structures include net rates, commissionable rates, allotment deals, and credit‑based accounts.
Safaryar Holidays also runs digital heritage initiatives covering Istanbul landmarks such as Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower, and Eyüp Sultan Mosque, connecting travellers with destination information before they arrive.
Travel agencies can register for access with no obligation, and technology partners may request API documentation for direct integration.
