A newly established Dubai operation will deliver secure IT asset disposition, refurbishment, depot repair, and global technology resale capabilities to CXTEC clients.
Our goal is to help customers do more with their technology investments at every stage of the IT lifecycle,”— Todd Zegers CEO of CXTEC
CXTEC, a frontrunner in sustainable IT lifecycle solutions, revealed today that it has entered a strategic collaboration with TDW UAE to set up a secure technology processing hub in Dubai. This alliance broadens CXTEC’s capacity to serve clients across the Middle East and bolsters its worldwide offerings in IT asset disposition (ITAD), technology refurbishment, depot repair, and value recovery.
Within TDW’s 80,000‑square‑foot, R2‑certified facility, CXTEC will operate in a dedicated, secure zone. The venture merges CXTEC’s global IT lifecycle know‑how, security protocols, and customer‑centric workflows with TDW’s experienced regional workforce, operational infrastructure, and established business connections.
“This partnership represents an important step in our continued global expansion and our commitment to supporting customers wherever their technology assets are located,” said Todd Zegers, CEO of CXTEC. “Dubai is a critical gateway connecting the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific. By partnering with TDW, we can provide our clients with an R2 Certified, secure, scalable and strategically located operation that improves service responsiveness, reduces unnecessary transportation and helps maximize the financial and environmental value of their IT assets.”
The Dubai facility will handle a full spectrum of services: secure asset receipt and processing, data‑bearing device handling, testing, refurbishment, depot repair, remarketing, and responsible disposition. CXTEC will also tap into TDW’s regional team members, infrastructure, and business ties to streamline execution and accelerate the growth of its ITAD strategy throughout the Middle East.
“We are pleased to partner with CXTEC and bring together two organizations with complementary capabilities and a shared commitment to security, quality and responsible technology management,” said Ali Musleem, Vice President of TDW. “TDW’s regional operating experience and R2-certified infrastructure, combined with CXTEC’s global customer relationships and IT lifecycle expertise, create a powerful platform for serving organizations across Dubai and the broader Middle East. We look forward to helping CXTEC deliver consistent, high-quality solutions to its customers throughout the region.”
Beyond serving regional ITAD and repair needs, the Dubai site will act as a strategic hub for reselling refurbished enterprise technology into Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), as well as the Asia‑Pacific (APAC) region. Access to these markets enables CXTEC to pinpoint the strongest resale channels for recovered equipment, helping customers achieve higher asset recovery values while prolonging the useful life of technology.
This partnership also addresses the rising demand from multinational enterprises, data centers, technology manufacturers, government entities, and other organizations for secure and sustainable IT asset management solutions. By processing assets closer to their deployment locations, CXTEC can assist customers in simplifying regional logistics, improving turnaround times, cutting transportation‑related environmental impacts, and maintaining greater consistency across their global IT lifecycle programs.
“Our goal is to help customers do more with their technology investments at every stage of the IT lifecycle,” Zegers added. “This new capability strengthens our ability to securely manage retired assets, return valuable equipment to productive use and deliver measurable financial and sustainability benefits. TDW gives us the right operational foundation and regional expertise to build a meaningful long-term presence in this important market.”
The Dubai operation will become part of CXTEC’s broader global service network and will be backed by CXTEC’s well‑established operational, compliance, reporting, and customer‑management capabilities.
