Electric Ride & Drive Expo Returns to North Natomas with EV and E-Bike Test Drives

Jibe, SMUD and Councilmember Lisa Kaplan invite residents to test-drive electric vehicles and ride commuter and cargo e-bikes in a no-pressure environment.

SACRAMENTO, CA, UNITED STATES, August 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Those in the Sacramento area who are curious about electric transportation can now get a hands-on experience at the Electric Ride & Drive Expo, taking place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the ONE Natomas Farmers Market.

Organized by North Natomas Jibe in collaboration with SMUD and District 1 Councilmember Lisa Kaplan, this Expo allows attendees to take the wheel of an electric vehicle, try out various e-bike styles, and discover how electric transportation might become part of their everyday routines.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at North Natomas Regional Park, situated at 2501 New Market Drive in Sacramento.

Unlike a standard car showroom, the Electric Ride & Drive Expo is intended as a sales-free, low-pressure setting. Visitors can explore different mobility options, pose practical questions, and compare electric vehicles and e-bikes without any expectation to buy.

Attendees will be able to:
* Test-drive a range of electric vehicles supplied by SMUD.
* Test-ride a selection of e-bikes.
* Speak with well-informed exhibitors about the newest e-bike and EV technology.
* Compare electric transportation choices all in one handy location.
* Find out how e-bikes and EVs might assist with commuting, errands, and other daily journeys.
* Browse the ONE Natomas Farmers Market while at the Expo.

Mike’s Bikes and RADLife Mobility will showcase a range of commuter and cargo e-bikes, including models from Serial 1. SMUD will bring an extensive lineup of electric vehicles for visitors to inspect and test-drive.

By gathering vehicles, bicycles, and transportation specialists in one easily accessible community venue, the Expo helps residents move past online browsing and personally experience electric transportation. Whether someone is thinking about an EV, searching for an e-bike that can haul groceries, or simply curious about electric options, they can compare possibilities and get direct answers to their questions.

The Electric Ride & Drive Expo is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the ONE Natomas Farmers Market inside North Natomas Regional Park.
