Electrogenic, a British electric-vehicle technology firm (electrogenic.co.uk), has purchased the operations of TREMEC Electric GT, securing a lasting American foothold as it advances to the next phase of its North American growth.
By taking over this California-based enterprise, Electrogenic strengthens its already dominant position within the EV powertrain sector and gains a facility in Huntington Beach — an optimal launchpad to further broaden its North American activities.
The deal comes after several years of steady expansion for Electrogenic across the North American market. With its new U.S. headquarters now established, the company will bring its top-tier EV powertrain technology to a wider set of North American customers, backed by an improved standard of regional support.

TREMEC Electric GT
Established in 2014, TREMEC Electric GT focuses on designing and integrating electric vehicle powertrain systems. The company built its reputation by delivering turnkey EV powertrains for low-volume manufacturers, aiding specialty vehicle builders with system integration, and supplying the aftermarket conversion market with its line of e-Crate ‘swap’ kits: complete, plug-and-play packages that bring electrification to a broad range of vehicles while retaining their original frame, body, driveline, and suspension.
